VoIP Service Provider Broadvox Presents SIP Trunking Benefits to SMBs during ITExpo

Dallas, TX – 01.08.08 – Broadvox, a worldwide leader in providing VoIP services to SMBs and enterprises announced today that attendees at the INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo will have three opportunities to learn more about SIP Trunking from members of the Broadvox management team. These industry leaders will each participate in separate sessions and offer their unique perspectives to conference attendees in Miami on January 23-25, 2008.

Broadvox is co-sponsoring a seminar presented by technology partner InGate. Part 1 of the three part SIP Trunking Workshop begins at 10:00am and Eric Eckman, Director of Business Development at Broadvox will participate in the session at 12:30pm titled “SIP Trunking – The Service Provider Perspective” at the InGate Pavilion. This session promises to be of particular interest to IAD resellers and suppliers.

He will be speaking in the main hall to all attendees on the general state and future of the SIP marketplace. Mr. Byrd brings almost thirty years of telecom experience to the conference so this is an event that should be of interest to everyone at ITExpo.

On Thursday, from 9:00-9:45am, session attendees can enjoy Part 2 of the SIP Trunking Workshop titled “SIP Trunking for the SMB” and get “educated and excited,” said Mark Bresler, VP Channel Sales at Broadvox. “There is a lot of misunderstanding about SIP and SIP Trunking today. We will compare SIP Trunking to TDM Trunking, present the economic benefits it brings, discuss the evolution of SIP from the recent past, where it is headed and educate the attendees on SIP Trunking deployment challenges and how to overcome them.”
