DID AvailabilitySince our last newsletter, Broadvox has added DID availability to our GO! SIP Trunking products for Puerto Rico and Hawaii. This means that customers who want to establish a local presence in Puerto Rico or Hawaii can now do so. For example, if a company has offices in Puerto Rico and a branch office in Chicago, they can get a Puerto Rico DID for the branch office and when people in Puerto Rico call the branch office, it will be charged as a local call.
Referal AwardA special promotional offer is in effect for all current and new Broadvox SIP Trunking customers and it delivers "cool cash" to each customer who takes advantage of it.
If the current customer refers another company to Broadvox and the company purchases our services, the $50 is awarded to the referring customer. The $50 can be applied toward the referring company’s monthly invoice for Broadvox services. It’s simple and there is no limit to the number of companies a customer can refer! This is an opportunity to save even more money and we are sure your clients will appreciate it! IP Sizzles 2009In Dallas, on August 11 at 11:15am, David Byrd, VP of Marketing and Sales, will speak about how SIP Trunking pays for itself (and more) during IP Communications migrations. If you are not familiar with IP Sizzles, it is an event for telecom and technology resellers in the areas of VoIP, IP telephony, unified messaging and more. This year, IP Sizzles will be in Dallas, Texas on August 11 and in Miami, Florida on August 13.
SIP and Serve BlogBlogging has become a favorite pastime of many and just recently, Broadvox executive Jeff Slater penned his two cents’ worth regarding Ed Whitacre and GM called "Eddie, Phones and Autos?" You will be entertained by this Best of the Quarter entry. Be sure to read the SIP and Serve blog every week for information about the IP community and taste tempting recipes.
May INTEROP in Las VegasWhile attending Interop in Las Vegas, David Byrd was interviewed by Rich Tehrani, President of TMCnet.
There are several key points in the interview, including the announcement of Broadvox’s relationship with Panasonic. David also talks about the importance of our connectivity with more OEMs than any other ITSP and how this benefits VARs as well as our customers. |

| The Local Number Portability (LNP) function in the Carrier Dashboard has been enhanced with more functions and capabilities. A special sub-set of the Carrier Dashboard User Guide was prepared and distributed that explains the new features, what is required and how to navigate the screens. With the added LNP functions you can now load one LNP request or more than 50 in a bulk upload request, depending on your needs. The LNP process is illustrated in an easy to follow diagram and explained in detail. Now with just a few clicks you can check the status of your request(s) or easily modify your order. |

| IP Man’s little sidekick Metoo has become so popular that he has his own special "corner" on the IP Man website. The next time you drop in to read the latest IP Man adventure or watch a video, take a moment to see what Metoo is up to. His corner is right next to the Comics bin. Remember, IP Man and Metoo are good for a laugh, but you just might learn a thing or two about our OEM partners (the real stars) and IP Communications fundamentals too! |
